I'm a San Francisco, bay-area resident with a passion for knowledge and information – I love programming, caffeine, rock climbing, projects, reading, web, design, cooking, and all things computery.

When not bobbing around at concerts, geocaching, or spending time with those I cherish: I'm often lost in books, immersed in fantasy worlds or stories in which life is stranger than fiction... Always, my inspiration is learning new things and sharing them with others.

Skills
Information Technology
Having administered Windows domains for a couple years, I've diagnosed and repaired enough system/network problems to provide extensive Tier 2 support. However, I am very fond of Macs and Debian Linux and work with them almost exclusively; I'm quite proficient in bash and python.
Web Development
I'm inspired by beautiful systems that communicate, store, or process information. I'm also opinionated; the internet is the coolest, most easily-accessible platform - I'm proficient in HTML and CSS, JS/jQuery, PHP/Drupal, MySQL, and Ruby/Rails.
Hobbies
Cooking
Life should be tasted, or at least that's how I always imagined it should be. Whether I'm ordering specialty teas, organic coffee roasts, going vodka tasting, or tinkering in the kitchen... Food and Drink are one of my strongest passions in life.
Jojo, Family, and Friends
Seriously, I adore this puppy... My family and friends are okay too, I suppose. But really, I'm the luckiest person in the world to be surrounded by such awesome characters all the time. They are often my greatest inspiration, rivals, and accomplices.
Outdoors
Having spent a lifetime with computers, I make it a point to enjoy nature every chance I get. You can always count on me for camping trips, hiking, abalone-diving, climbing, snowboarding, geocaching, surfing, and just about everything else.
Reading
I'm a book nerd. When at home, I read stories about vampires, wizards, and spaceships; At the desk, you'll find me neck-deep in programming language reference books; Out and about, you'll see me reading more culturally-inspirational books about some radical new idea or technology.
